Welcome to the Class of 1987 Reunion Site! Please check out the links to the left for information on events, the class directory (including profiles with photos), and photos from past reunions. This site will be maintained well into the future and will provide a place to store contact information for all IHS '87 alumni for future events.

To add or update your information in the directory, you will need to log in with a user name and password that you create. After you've created a profile and logged in, you will be able to add your own information and photos to your profile. Information such as your mailing address and phone number will help us a lot when we need to contact you in 2012 or 2017 when we do this all over again. Keep your stuff current! Also, let us know if you have any photos from any past reunions. We would love to post them to the photos page. The Directory page indicates classmates for which we are still missing addresses. Please email Mark Gremmert with any 'missing' classmate information or photos. Please be patient as it may take a few days for a response.

Update!

We had a great turnout for our 20 year reunion! After locating addresses and sending out invites for 133 out of 143 classmates, our final headcount showed 49 alumni attended the dinner on Saturday night (1/3 of our class) with their significant others bringing the total to 82 people. We also had a handful of others who were not able to attend on Saturday night, but that were around for the informal gathering on Friday night. Both nights were a lot of fun as many people took advantage of the opportunity to catch up. The picnic and the golf outing were also a lot of fun. For those who could not attend, we hope to see you next time. Also we regret not being able to contacting everyone, so if you have any information on the people who are still 'missing' please email Mark Gremmert with the information so we can get our database filled with current addresses.

Teresa (Halford) Tjaden from Tjaden Photography was present at the dinner and was able to get quite a few good group photos to go along with our latest class photo. All of the proofs are posted here on our Photos page. If you would like to order a print or two, please go to: www.tjadenphoto.com and click on the word 'proofing'. In the 'view an event' box, type the Username: Indee and Password: 6233. From there you can look at what she has provided and order online from any of the proofs. The class photo should be appearing in the Bulletin Journal around the week of July 16th or 23rd. Photos from the picnic and the golf outing are now available too.

Thank you again to everyone that responded to the 20 year reunion invitation. From the information that was gathered from the RSVP's and even from this website, we were able to put together a new directory. If you were not able to attend the dinner and therefore did not receive a directory, please email Mark Gremmert for an electronic version of the document. Better yet, if everyone fills out a profile on this site, we would not need a separate document... (wishful thinking, I know). Next time around, we will also be setting up a way to register for the events and pay online through this website so that is another reason to check back. There will also be an expanded online survey coming soon. The results of the paper survey that was handed out at the dinner was very interesting. The results of that will be posted soon too. In the mean time, check out the rest of the site. Send in any photos you took individually and we'll get them posted too. We also need to mention that if you had a great time and want to know how you can help out next time around, send an email to Mark Gremmert to get the information (Although I will be tied to the website and therefore around to help, we will probably be looking for a whole new crew in 5 years. If no one steps up, it will be tough to put anything together until the 30 year reunion).

Finally, a big THANKS goes out to Gene Ficken for a great speach and all of the local businesses in Independence that were kind enough to donate door prizes for our event. For those of you who are still wondering... we had co-valedictorians in the class of '87: Jennifer Gates and Geoff Ward. And thanks again to everyone that pitched in.
